What we keep, and why.
Pinacel Academy keeps only what it needs to run your account and your courses. We do not sell it, and we do not use it for advertising.

What we collect
Your account: your first name, surname and email address, and a password that our sign-in provider stores only as a one-way hash. Nobody, including us, can read it. If you choose Continue with Google, Google tells us your name, email address and profile picture, and nothing else.
Your learning: your learner code, your course credit, the courses you enrol in and the modules you complete, so your progress is there when you come back.
Your answer to the age question and the moment you agreed to these policies, kept with your account as the record that you, or your parent or guardian, agreed.
What we do not collect
No card details: courses are paid for with the academy’s own credit, not money. No home address, no gender, no phone number. We do not buy information about you from anyone.
Children and young learners
The academy is open to learners of any age. Anyone under 18 needs a parent or guardian to agree before signing up, and says so when creating the account.
A parent or guardian can ask us at any time, at hello@chitemere.co.zw, to see or delete their child’s information, and we will do it.
Who else handles it
Supabase runs the database and the sign-in. Vercel hosts the site. Resend delivers the emails you ask for, such as account confirmations and password resets. Each handles your information only to do that job for us. We share information if the law requires it.
The course advisor on the home page sends what you type there, and nothing else about you, to Google’s Gemini service to choose courses. Please keep personal details out of it. We do not store what you type.
How long we keep it, and deleting it
We keep your account and progress for as long as the account exists. Delete my account, on your profile page, erases your account, your enrolments and your progress straight away.

Changes
If what we do with your information changes, this page changes with it and the date above moves.
