Drawing for Beginners Level 1-50

A structured, 50-exercise curriculum that takes you from your very first line to confident, controlled drawing. Each exercise builds on the last — line control, form, perspective, shading — so you always know exactly what to practice next instead of guessing.

What you'll learn

  • Draw confidently in basic perspective (1-point and 2-point)
  • Render form and shadow to make flat shapes feel three-dimensional
  • Work from observation, not just copying
  • Complete all 50 structured exercises with feedback

Use value and shading to make flat shapes read as three-dimensional.

  6. 6

    Light and shadow logic (26-30)

Understand how light behaves so shading decisions stop being guesswork.

  7. 7

    Drawing from observation (31-35)
